Origin: According to cocktail historian David Wondrich, the margarita is related to the brandy daisy (margarita is Spanish for “daisy”), remade with tequila instead of brandy. (Daisies are a family of cocktails that include a base spirit, liqueur, and citrus. A sidecar and gin daisy are other related drinks.) He states that there is an account from 1936 of an Iowa newspaper editor James Graham finding such a cocktail in Tijuana, years before any of the other margarita creation myths.” Even though the creation is a mystery, the base ingredients have always been the same, Tequila, Triple Sec, and each’s own Lime Juice version. My uncle was perhaps the most well liked man I’ve ever known. This was most obvious when he had get togethers of any kind. They were always well attended because he put his guest’s needs first, a margarita machine serves the purpose of both, a good time, also ensuring your event will be well attended.
Our Story
I spent over 20 years in the Dallas area service industry making drinks for patrons. The past 15 were spent at Chuys and the Blue Goose cantina where the perfect margarita beverage and a perfect margarita taste were a must know, while serving and entertaining the professional Happy Hour crowds in order to keep them coming back and having a good time!
